Our mission is to deliver cost-competitive clean electricity, product choice, price stability, energy efficiency, and greenhouse gas emission reductions.
Valley Clean Energy Alliance (VCEA) is a joint powers agency set to begin serving electricity customers located within the cities of Davis, Woodland and unincorporated areas of Yolo County in summer 2018. VCEA offers choice in the electric utility market, competitive rates for clean energy, product choice, price stability, energy efficiency and local control.
VCEA is governed by a six-member Board of Directors, two each from the Davis City Council, Woodland City Council and the Yolo County Board of Supervisors. The Board is advised by its 9-member Community Choice Energy Advisory Committee. Board meetings are held monthly, alternating between Davis City Council and Yolo County Board Chambers. See Board of Directors and Meetings pages for more information
